ACH Operations: RDFIs, TPSPs, and Receivers

ACH receiving operations involve much more than posting entries. This course examines the responsibilities and operational decisions of an RDFI, as well as the work performed by Third-Party Service Providers that support RDFI operations.

The course addresses governance, ACH files and batches, posting and settlement, funds availability, Receiver notices, EDI requests, exceptions, stop payments, Written Statements of Unauthorized Debit, return timing, Notifications of Change, breach of warranty claims, proof of authorization requests, and the relationship between the Nacha Operating Rules and Regulation E.

The content is divided into 20 focused units, creating natural stopping points and allowing learners to complete the approximately six-hour course over multiple sessions.

Successful completion earns 7 continuing education credits.
